In order to follow the regulations of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology number 53 of 2023 concerning quality assurance of higher education article 18. That the final project of students is no longer required to be done in the form of a thesis. therefore, IPB CIREBON also applies these rules to final year students in the 2024/2025 academic year.
On Monday 30 September 2024, the head of the English Literature study program conducted socialization regarding this matter to students. The following is a summary of the thesis scheme for final year students in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Requirements:

1. THESIS

2. NON-THESIS
Non-thesis is a work made by a student to fulfill one of the requirements to complete the
graduation requirements to complete the Bachelor Study Program (S1). Works can be in the form of prototypes, scientific publications, textbooks, novels, appropriate technology and achievement works.
PUBLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC WORK
Final project in the form of an article is a scientific writing that contains research articles or theoretical studies which is published in :
- accredited scientific journals national accredited scientific journal at least Sinta 3 as first author and author

ACHIEVEMENT WORK
- Achievements obtained must bearound the field of study program science.
- Achievements can be in the form of Champion First, Second and Third in National Scientific Competition as many as 3 or Finalist top 6 international level to get a certificate or award certificate. Example: PIMNAS PKM, KMI EXPO, International level competitions, and so on.
- Writing and presenting report on the results of the activity in front of the examination team.
- Attach proof of participation in the activity
BOOK/NOVEL WORKS
- Students must compile and submit a proposal for the creation of a book book that includes objectives, concept, content plan, and methodology to be used.
- Students who choose this final project are expected to have been actively involved in academic activities such as seminars, workshops, or scientific discussions.
- For textbooks, for example, students must master scientific writing techniques and pedagogy, while for novels, creativity and storytelling skills become important factors.
- The book must have an ISBN and be published
