Cirebon—In response to the growing demand for English proficiency in an increasingly globalized world, the English Literature Program at IPB Cirebon has taken a significant step forward with the launch of its Interactive Language Laboratory. This state-of-the-art facility was recently inaugurated to maximize students’ learning experiences and significantly enhance their English language skills.
Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Language Laboratory provides a unique environment for students to practice speaking, listening, and reading in a setting that mimics real-world language use. With interactive learning experiences, students can engage in various computer-based activities that enrich their knowledge and build confidence in their communication abilities.
“The Interactive Language Laboratory is our answer to language learning challenges in the digital age. We believe enjoyable and practical learning experiences are crucial for improving students’ skills,” said Juwintan, head of the English Literature Study Program, at the lab’s inauguration. “Focusing on practice, we hope to prepare our students to be more competitive in today’s workforce.”

What sets this laboratory apart is its ability to make learning more engaging and effective. Through recording and live streaming technology, it supports a range of activities and fosters a flexible teaching approach. This allows educators to provide richer and more varied instructional materials, enhancing students’ understanding and retention of English.
