In a recent collaborative meeting between the English Literature Study Program at Institut Prima Bangsa and Mainkata, both parties engaged in constructive dialogue that led to several key agreements. This strategic discussion, held on June 13, 2024, marked a significant milestone as both institutions explored possibilities for future cooperation.
Despite the intent to establish a collaboration, Mainkata, drawing from its experiences over the past few years, ultimately decided against agreeing to a partnership involving the placement of internship students. However, the door remains open for other forms of collaboration, particularly regarding recruiting practising educators. Mainkata has indicated that it would consider this option, contingent on submitting formal documentation outlining essential details such as objectives, activity schedules, accommodation arrangements, and honorarium for instructors.
Although the meeting did not culminate in a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), it expanded the network of both institutions, particularly benefiting the English Literature Study Program at Institut Prima Bangsa. This development emphasizes the importance of dialogue and relationship-building in academia, paving the way for future engagements that could foster educational growth and opportunities.

Both parties acknowledged the value of the discussions, which helped crystallize the potential for partnership while also recognizing the necessity of formal agreements to ensure successful collaboration moving forward. The outcome of this meeting underscores a commitment to ongoing communication and exploration of alternative pathways for cooperation, setting a foundation for future academic ventures.
